I’ve never been more productive with computers than I am right now. I have several projects in progress, and all of it has been made possible with the help of AI.

I know AI is a hot-button issue depending on who you talk to—ranging from environmental concerns to broader ethical debates. But for me, it has made a real difference. It’s helped me get the most out of my technology, and honestly, if this had existed 10 or 15 years ago, I might have ended up in a completely different career.

So, what has it helped me with? Well, I’ve tried things I never would have attempted before. For example, I was never quite sure what PowerShell was or how to use it. Now, I just describe what I want to do, and the AI generates the scripts or code for me. Not only does it make me more successful and faster, but I’m also learning as I go—because it explains what it’s doing, why it’s doing it, and how it all works.

There are other examples too, but overall, I’m hopeful. I’d love to see AI evolve into something like the computers on Star Trek, or to a lesser extent, Star Wars—always in the background, helping when asked.
