Hurricane Irma came to visit today, here in Brandon, FL. As I type we are still experiencing it. It is getting worse, but not as bad as predicted. Thank you Lord. If it had been as bad as predicted who knows what may have happen. The State gave us almost no warning time if we wanted to evacuate, work also dragged their feet and kept waiting to know the exact path. Even though it was already known that Hurricane Irma was wider and longer than the entire State of Florida. By the time everyone realized that we were going to get the brunt of the storm all the gas was gone or extremely hard to find. If you did find gas you may not have found anymore by the time you got out of the State, even if you then decided to leave. Then there wasn’t anymore plywood because it was bought up or sent to the east coast. So again thank you again Lord for sparing us the absolute worse as my family chose to stay here.
I want to say for the majority of the storm and it still is not quite over, we had power and internet. So thank you TECO and Frontier. I posted a short clip of video of the storm I made for my Mom on my Twitter account. Take care all and now the clean up begins.
