All my life, I’ve been told that Russia and Putin are bad for the U.S.—which I believe. But now, we want to get closer to Russia just because they’re big and powerful?
Republicans were once at the forefront, saying Putin’s Russia is evil. Now, Russian assets are in charge of our country, and suddenly, Republicans say Russia isn’t bad?
This is exactly why I’ve given up on party affiliations—neither party cares about the average moderate citizen, as the Constitution was set up to protect and as our Founding Fathers envisioned.
What a total disgrace by the President and Vice President of the United States. This was clearly a planned move by both of them, only serving to benefit Putin. Just like the President's claim that Ukraine started the war, this plays right into Russia’s hands. Russia must be laughing at us, while Europe and our allies are left questioning the reliability of the U.S. Where is Congress?
Who would want to work for the federal government, especially at an independent agency that Congress has expressly legislated into existence, if the next President can whimsically cut it out by Executive Order (which is unconstitutional) and cut off its funding? Where is Congress?
It seems Trump is pardoning all the corrupt politicians. I just saw that he pardoned Rod Blagojevich, the previously convicted former governor of Illinois. I wonder how much that netted Trump—and which position he’ll fill in the administration?
Well, I am getting real tired of politics and the politicians in this Country. I am not voting for Obama for sure and I don’t like McCain. I personally do not like either choice. However, I know where McCain is coming from. Obama is a great Orator but that is it. When pressed he is never specific. I also fear he would give into other nations because he is afraid to get us in a war even though it maybe for the right reason. The Iraq War was wrong to start but we must finish it or breed a 1000 more terrorist that will hurt us.
We need people in Congress who is going to not only say he is going to look out for the “little guy” but recognize who the “little guy” is and start telling big business about their many unfair business practices. Such as telling banks they are not going to charge any more ATM fees. It cost them almost nothing to run these things and if I bank with Bank A and go to Bank B because it is closer I should not have to pay. Because I can guarantee you that a Bank B customer will use Banks A ATM and it works out in the end. That is just one of the number of ways Americans are being bleed dry by Corporations.
I have a book full.
