  • Sorry I haven’t blogged in a log time.

Sorry I haven’t blogged in a log time. Been kind of busy with work. Never did I think retiring from one job and starting a new one in a new field would be so exhausting. Well, I am finally learning Microsoft Expressions Web. So, I am slowly and surely getting my old website back up into a new design and feel. It is still a work in progress and would like to know what you think of it. So, please stop by and take a look and let me know how it is going (http://michael.mitchelltribe.com).

Now about Facebook. I am thinking of quitting it. Nobody really contacts me on there. And all my old friends don’t seem interested in contacting me. So, it is just a thought.

As far as work is going I am on nights again. However, I have a schedule I really like. I work Monday night through Friday night and have Saturday and Sunday night off. My hours are pretty good too. In fact, they just changed last week and I really like the new hours 10PM-6:30 AM. I sleep pretty good, except when there is noise around the house. Well that’s about it for now. Hope everyone is doing great and would love to hear from everyone. Take care.

  • The Lord Blesses

The Lord Blesses his people. The people of the South united in Prayer and the Lord answered by keeping the oil away from our seafood. He wants his people to be able to enjoy his creations he gave to sustain us.

  • Independence Day

Happy 4th of July to everyone! Remember Independence equals Freedom. Our fore fathers would love how their simple ideas have lasted. Just not sure they would approve of all the implementations of Our Constitution.

  • Starting New Shift Monday

Monday I start a new shift at work. I will be working permanent midnight shift 11P-7:30A. This means more money a plus, means I am working midnights again a neutral and I will have every weekend off. This is another plus. Other than that nothing much new. Except that I have been reading and listening to more audio books. I have also been listening to an excellent Pastor, Dr. David Jeremiah. I recommend everyone listen to him. I wish he had a Church hear in Brandon or Tampa.

Well that is it for now. Hope everyone is doing great. Also, stop by and take a look at my website. I think it is coming along nicely. Let me know what you think and remember you can read my blog or my twitter page. Also, family and friends who know my cell phone can text me or tweet me to contact me. Take care all.

  • Been sick

Have been sick the last three days. Had to call out from work the last two. Not 100% but about 85-90%. Will be back at work tomorrow.

  • Still working on the website

Well, I hope people stop by and liked how the redesign is going. I am almost done with it. Still may be a couple of months. I love technology. However, I hate having to use so many different programs for different things.

This has been my second weekend off in a month. I can’t believe I have had two weekends off in one month. Next month looks to be the same. Also, I will start a new position at Moffitt at the end of June or the beginning of July. It will require me to work midnights again. But, I thought I would mind. But, I don’t. It means more money, not actually a pay raise but shift differential. This should add about 10000 in yearly income, at least I hope. Second, I will be working basically a Monday through Friday shift. I will be off every Saturday and Sunday night. I am looking forward to it.

I work on Monday, Memorial Day. But, that is ok. I will be getting time and a half. Also, I downloaded the new official, not beta, version of Microsoft Office 2010. I like it. It is way better than Office 2007. Only feature I miss is from Office 2003, where you can change the stationary in Outlook. I got it for 9.95 from the Microsoft Use at Home program through work. However, I will still have to buy a shrink wrap version as on of my computers I am using 64 bit for almost everything.

On the weight front. I have not lost any more, but, haven’t gained anymore either. I am holding steady. I think my body is becoming used to the Phenteramine. However, I am not showing any signs of needing it every day. I skip yesterday’s dose all together. My appetite did not increase so that’s good.

Well, that is it for now. Remember you can follow me on Twitter. Stop by my website and follow me other ways. I am going to strive to blog and twitter more through out the year. I am contemplating deleting my Facebook account. Because I don’t like their privacy policies. The only reason I use it because I have found a lot of people for my past.

Well, from me, Henry and Taco (my dogs), take care and be safe. And remember you never know when the Lord will call us away. So be prepared.

  • Well I have finally updated my website.

I finally updated my website. Not a huge update but did add a photo gallery and clean a couple of things up. Also, added a new radio program. Hope everyone enjoys.

As far as everything else. I finally have a whole weekend off. This day is almost over and I wish it would slow way down. I also watched Australia DVD today. Not bad. A little long. I give it four out of five stars. Oh and yea I am officially down under 220 according to my scale. Not sure what the doctor’s scale would show. Since there is a difference. But, I am happy.

  • Well, Thanks to all those that said “Drill Baby, Drill”

I am a Republican and I am an American. However, I have always said this Country needs to be off oil. It should have been off of it years ago. I don’t like these oil rigs. Let’s do more electric, spend more on algae and hydrogen research.

  • Nothing really new

I am still alive. Losing weight and working. I have also been wanting to write a piece on politics. But, before I do that I need to work on my website. If I ever get a couple of days off back to back. I just might be able to.

I have been listening to Dr. David Jeremiah and his series on Revealing the Mysteries of Heaven. Let me tell you I can’t wait to reach Heaven.  Also, I have just finished a great book called One Minute After You Die by Erwin Lutzer. It’s a great book and a short read. Will blog more when I have more time. Take care. Also, I find myself twittering more than blogging lately. My Twitter is MLM361 so if you Twitter send me a follow request.

  • Back to work

Work was work. It was an ok day for my first day back. However, the pollen laden air is giving me a headache.
