Hello All,
I was in the hospital for 3 days this week. I had my first ambulance ride to the hospital. I suffered A-Fib. The first time, I really felt bad where I was worried. They were able to stop the A-Fib and put me on medication. At least it WAS NOT a heart attack or a stoke. Thanks to my coworker, boss and my family for everything. Thanks to Jesus and God for saying it was not time for me to go.
Apparently this is common and serious. My weight had nothing to do with it. My hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) may have contributed to the A-Fib, but it certainly did not help.
I am currently on an antiarrhythmic and a blood thinner. St. Joseph’s staff was great, Tampa Fire Rescue was great and work treated me great. Thanks to all again for everything and let’s hope it is another 46 years before this happens again.
