Just watched a movie

News Update!
A lot has happened since the start of the year. I haven’t talked about it much, but I am now. I will be cutting my phone and cable service in the next two weeks. I have had to endure several pay cuts in the last few months. Work has had to lay off more than 200 people because of this IMPROVING economy. I fear more cuts are coming and technically I did not get laid off. However, my position on the night shift was eliminated and they were able to transfer on top of another pay cut. Now they have increased our insurance premiums, co-insurance and the amount we paid. I used to think the 80-20 split was bad. We now have a 70-30 split and in some causes 50-50 with a increase of the deductible of course. I thought healthcare was supposed to be recession and depression proof. Well, that is it for now. I continue because I know this world is a temporary stop until we all reach are permanent home. I did find time to update my website. So, stop by and take a look.

Sick Sick Sick
Well, I have caught a cold from someone at work. Which is going to cost me a day of work. I woke up at 1 AM and by 3AM I could not take it anymore. I drove to CVS for something for my sore throat. I am miserable right now.

Well sorry I haven’t blogged in a while. But, between school and work I have been busy. The semester has ended and I earned a B in my Technical Writing Class and a B- in my IT Concepts course.
Work has been going poorly. My position was cut. However, they were able to keep me and move me from the night shift to the day shift (less money). But, I have a job for now. There are rumors going around they are going to cut 500 people out of 4000 people that work there. So, my position my not be stable yet. I will keep everyone informed. Please keep me in your prayers.
On another front, sorry about not updating the website for a while. Again, the reasons above are my excuse. I will hopefully tackle the website in a couple of weeks. I now have to work on weekends (every third for the time being). I also moved the website to a new host, for cost and speed.

I am back for another semester
I started the Spring Semester last week. So far, so good. Let’s hope this Spring session flies. Some positives. My first “IT” class I am doing quite well. Also, taking technical writing. So far good. Let’s hope both stay this way. Can’t wait until April. I take my vacation and classes in the end of the month.

Christmas Eve
Tomorrow we celebrate the birth of Jesus the Universe’s only true King. I can not help but reflect on what happened to me this week. I have been talking to a lady at work. She is a Jehovah Witness. They actually believe that Jesus is the son of God an actual son not God become human. They also believe that Jesus and Satan are brothers. I almost fell on my knees and cried with that statement. Jesus and Satan are not even in the same league. It amazes me how Satan can deceive people. Please pray for her and all the Jehovah Witnesses. This occult needs to not exist.

Happy Thanksgiving!
I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving! This is kind of a bitter sweet one for me. This will be the first since my little buddy Henry passed away. I still hurt even after two weeks without him. He was such a loyal little guy.
So, I just wanted to tell everyone to enjoy their Thanksgiving. We have a lot to be thankful for. I know most importantly I am thankful for my Lord and Savior, my family and friends. So enjoy the day be thankful. Oh and by the way, I am in the last week of classes. So next weekend I am updating the website. No major revisions just minor ones. My Beloved Henry Mitchell is Gone!
My loyal faithful dog Henry died today at approximately 11:00 AM. Henry had been in pain for the last six months, so today he is no longer in pain. I will greatly miss him he has been with me almost 15 years. His birthday would have been December 8.

Dec 2, 2011 fast approaching
Cannot wait for this date. It will be the date I am finally finished with my first semester back. I have neglected a lot of things the last few months between work and school. But, it has paid off. I have A’s in both classes so far. Although, I think my ultimate score in English Composition 2 will be a B. Well back to reading about Nuclear Power in Environmental Science.

What’s been happening?
What’s been happening lately? Well, a lot. I have been busy at work and college. I am only taking two classes this semester. But, it feels like a second job. I am constantly doing something for my English class and trying to squeeze in my Environmental Science class. I was going to take three classes. But, when I saw the workload for my conversational sociology class I had to drop it. There was no way I could have kept up in that class.
Well I hope everyone is doing great and enjoying there Labor Day. I am off and working on class stuff. I also took tomorrow off to finish my class stuff and to go to for an ultrasound tomorrow. Not looking forward to going back to work on Wednesday.
