Hurricane Ian has come and gone. Being born and raised in Florida this is the worst Hurricane I have experienced and we did not take a direct hit. We lost power for almost 48 hours. This hurricane had the highest winds I have ever experienced and the rain when it fell was immense and intense as the bands rotated around.
I can only imagine what Fort Myers went through. I lived there for a couple of years and can’t believe what they endured. Thank you Lord for turning this thing before it got here. If it did it might be years before things would have return to semi-normal.
