Hello, my name is Michael Mitchell, and welcome to my website. This is my little bit of real estate on the internet, and it’s where I will be setting up my permanent home online.
I’m a 55-year-old resident of the State of Florida, and I was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. I’m a Saved, Christian, Baptist, Bible-believing American with Polish ancestry. I attended school in Hillsborough County and graduated from Armwood High School. I then went on to study music education and criminal justice at the University of South Florida before taking a break from college. Although I have a passion for computers and love learning about new technologies, I stopped pursuing an IT degree due to economic circumstances. However, I continue to learn about technology on my own.
After high school and two years of college, I worked for 18 years in state and local government before retiring. I now work at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida, in Pharmacy Administration as a Pharmacy Technician, recently promoted to Pharmacy Purchasing Agent. It is a gratifying job and allows me the opportunity to increase my knowledge of technology.
Music has always been an important part of my life. I learned to play the trombone in Junior and Senior High School and in College, and I love Classical, Gospel, and Christian Music as a result of my time playing the trombone. Even though I have not played the trombone or any instrument for a while, I still have my trombone and cherish the knowledge of learning about music and this fantastic instrument.
I am in the process of learning WordPress and using it with this website. I have already set up and imported my Blogspot posts on my blog page, Michael’s Blog, and this website will be growing in the months and years ahead.
